Problem

A Louisville, Kentucky customer was paying $50-60 per month for a land-line phone. The customer did not use the land-line much, but wanted to keep the number that had been in the family for decades.

Solution

The customer contacted Networkfixes, which explained low cost options. The customer opted for the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) option. Networkfixes researched hardware options and then provided hands-on porting of the existing number to a VoIP service. Once the number was ported into the VoIP service, Networkfixes delivered hands-on assistance in to configure the VoIP account for voice service with the new Grandstream hardware. The customer is now paying about $1.50 per month for phone service instead of $50-60 per month.
