Problem:
Customer wanted personal backup outside the house. Customer had access to a non-home site with power and Internet for the Synology NAS (network attached storage). Customer wanted Synology assembled, configured, connected, and tested.
Solution:
Assembled the Synology NAS with red Western Digital drives (all purchased by the customer). Configured the NAS and set up port forwarding in the router and tested through a WAN (Internet, not LAN) connection. Added dynamic dns to the NAS using DYN.com.
