Problem:

Queen Anne resident could not get new Netgear router to work with Comcast modem.

Solution:

After a variety of tests to isolate the problem, it was determined the Netgear router simply didn’t play nice with the Comcast modem or was defective. A different brand of dual-band router was put in place. This different brand router did work and passed subsequent tests to regain connection with the Comcast modem when the router lost power.

Additionally, optimized connection for the Roku media player and insured the WiFi printer was connected and working.
