Over the years I’ve used different hosting companies. There is one company with many different hosting brands I avoid: EIG, short for Endurance International Group. I avoid this company because they tried a bait-and-switch on me with JustHost.com. They advertised one price, then started billing me more. Because JustHost was in Utah, I complained to the Utah authorities. The Utah authorities agreed with me twice (because EIG tried a second time to bill me more!) and forced JustHost to honor its advertised price.
EIG silently buys up hosts. (They also own Constant Contact.) You may think you are looking at different hosts, but in the end they could all be owned by EIG. This blog post keeps a current list:
