FM Radio Station Network Issues
Problem:
A new Seattle FM radio station needed several network jobs done, including:
b) Move access point
c) Identify problem with voice messages not being sent via email from the VoIP phone system.
Solution:
b) Relocated cloud-based access point to more optimal position based on actual usage locations by staff and visitors
c) Determined that messages were being sent and that the email delivery of voice messages was within the organization’s own mail service, not in the VoIP service. Set up an intermediary account on different service that 1) allowed easier visual checks that email with voice messages were being sent and 2) forwarded the messages on to the intended email account. The setup allows a middle set to see if messages are being sent and also as a backup.
Solving Google WiFi Mesh Problem
Problem:
Seattle penthouse resident complained that his Google WiFi mesh system was not working right. He was still experiencing dead spots throughout the unit.
Solution:
Examination of the site and the units revealed two problems: 1) units were not optimally placed and 2) at least one of the mesh units was not a part of the mesh.
Units were repositioned for better radio connections and reconfigured to insure all units were a part of the mesh.
Track Down Internet Connection Issue in Small Business
Problem:
Seattle small business was experiencing no Internet connection via Comcast on some devices.
Solution:

Dual Office VoIP Phone Setup
Problem:
Seattle attorney establishing an additional presence on the Pacific coast near Ocean Shores, WA., wanted phones in Seattle and coast to work the same with same numbers, same voice mail.
Solution:
Phone numbers were moved to a VoIP service, ring groups set up for each number, and then VoIP adapters connected to the numbers in the VoIP service. Result: Calls to business and personal numbers ring in both places at once. Voice mails are accessible by email and by phone. Calls out show only the existing, established phone numbers, wether call originates from coast or Seattle.
